Would you look at that.

Do I need to say more? A picture's worth a thousand words, right? So what's the story behind the photo.

My daughter called me in a panic one day, asking if her father was still at home. No. Why? Because her dog had jumped on the sofa intent on eating her lunch. She landed on the back of the arm that came down and the couch swallowed her. When I got to my daughter's house, the dog had slipped further down into the couch and I could only see her nose. She wasn't struggling, but simply gave me a pleading look. Help.

I laughed so hard I wasn't any help. Animal control came out and helped us pull the dog out. She was okay, didn't break any bones.

You'd think she learned her lesson, but you'd be wrong.

So funny! One time we came home from vacation and our dog had tried to get 3 balls in her mouth at once, and they got stuck in there. She was fine, but we have no idea how long they had been like that.

Cute pup!!! Bet she thinks twice about jumping onto the couch!

Nope, Debby. The little girl hasn't learned her lesson. She still jumps on the couch.

Cute story. Dogs have a way of making us smile, no matter what. Interesting that dog spelled backwards is God.

Sounds like book material to me! I know my dog gets himself in many situations that he doesn't think he can get out of. If he would just listen to Mommy.

Mom you know better than to leave that food to entice her! Poor thing was scared when she went down the dark hole! LOL

I enlarged the photo to get a better look. You really captured the pleading in her eyes.

Our poodle we had years ago learned her lessons of staying off the couch when we were in the room, but just go out of the room and peek, and she was up on the couch, when she caught me looking she was back on the floor.
