I've been studying the book of James with Max Lucado's Bible study guide. He has a whole series where he goes through various books of the Bible. He breaks the chapters down into smaller sections then asks some thought-provoking questions and also gives little vignette stories for inspiration. This is my second study guide that I've done of this series and have really enjoyed seeing the Bible from this perspective.
