Jenna Mindel here, excited to share the cover of the first book of my new Maple Springs series. The book doesn't release until the end of summer, but hey, might as well get the word out now, right?
The Widow's Surprise Baby.....
When Annie Marshall discovers just weeks after her husband’s death that she’s carrying his baby, her sadness turns to hope. Scared of facing this all on her own, she reluctantly accepts the help of her husband’s best friend, Matthew Zelinsky. The kiss they shared after the funeral was just two friends comforting each other—or so she tells herself. Yet spending time together makes them wonder if what they feel is more than friendship. When people in town start raising eyebrows and her business begins to suffer from the gossip, Annie must decide if loving Matthew is worth the risk.
I'm excited about this for a several reasons. It's my first, very own Love Inspired series, and each book I have planned highlights some really cool and unique occupations that I've encountered since living in Northern Michigan. Also, the town of Maple Springs is inspired by the area where I currently live. Now, I'm crazy about Northern Michigan - but I can't help but wonder if there's certain series settings that are your favorites...
What's your favorite kind of place to read about?
Have a blessed day, and check out more about upcoming books in the Maple Springs series at my website jennamindel.com

Congratulations on your book, Jenna! I look forward to reading it...I love the premise. I love to write about small towns in mountain communities.
Morning Jill,
I love mountain communities too! I grew up in Upstate NY and we often camped in the Adirondacks - there's some great small towns up there.
Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
I am an avid reader and love stories based in small communities....mountains included. I am excited about your new book, Jenna. Love the cover!
Hey Jackie,
Thanks. I love this cover too! Love Inspired does a great job with their covers. :) We authors fill out art fact sheets with cover scene suggestions and I LOVE completing those - it's like building a little scrap book for the art dept. Not that I'm a "scrapper" by any means. My personal photos always end up in a pile. LOL.
Have a great day!!
God Bless.
Your book sounds fascinating. I will read a story set anywhere.
I like the small towns but at the same time when stuff like this happens it makes me not like them.
Congratulations on your very own series!
Love the cover, Jenna! It looks like it'll be a great series! Good luck! Can't wait to see what the occupations will be!
Jenna;
What a great scenario.
Neat cover too.
I LOVE stories that take place in Michigan since I'm a lifetime member of the Great Lake's State. . .as well as a charter member of ACFW GREAT LAKES CHAPTER. (Had to get that in there) Seriously, Stories that take place in our state always catch my eye. Can't wait to read your new series!
Blessings with a huge CONGRAT-YOU-LATIONS!
Wahoooo, Joy! Fellow Michigander - Thanks for popping in. :) And one of these days, I'm going to look into the ACFW Great Lakes Chapter. :)
God bless!
