I am a native Texan also and the heat in the summer can be a real killer. I didn't wake up to snow this morning just a flood of rain which may be worse as it continues to pour down.
Well, it's still snowing. The only thing about that is it should be warm enough on Saturday to melt the stuff on the roads.
It's beautiful! I love it when it snows. Not sure I'd like getting what Washington areas got, though.
